Through the generosity of community members like you to our annual campaign, the Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation is brightening lives locally, in Israel, and around the world.
With your help, we are:
· Mobilizing on-the-ground disaster relief for at-risk communities, including victims of the California wild fires, Merrimack Valley gas explosions, and Hurricane Michael in Florida.
· Presenting a full year of local programming through our new spotlight on jewish and israeli culture featuring Adult Education series on Jewish Music and Jewish Art, social events - Trivia Night and a movie premiere evening with Sammy Davis Jr., a tribute to Broadway’s Jewish songwriters, PJ Library, Camp Hadar, a speaker on “Jewish Culture’s Role in building Jewish Community,” the annual Jewish Film Festival, and two clubs - Jewish Genealogy and Jewish Film.
· Providing assistance to Israelis living along the Gaza border suffering from kite fires, rockets, and PTSD.

WHY WE GIVE
Many years ago the Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation literally saved our Hebrew School by providing a grant. It was then that I learned what the Federation did. I thought - Wow what a great organization - I have to give back to them so that they can continue to support the local and overseas Jewish communities. The MVJF is about helping people, fostering community, providing a unified voice. We are stronger because of the MVJF. Every year I see us getting stronger, clarifying our vision and it is OUR MVJF in every sense of the word OUR. But we need everyone to contribute to maintain and increase our strength.
